ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in a small town outside Savannah Georgia where I spent most of my time with my family and friends enjoying the great outdoors. After graduating high school I enrolled at Georgia Tech to pursue a degree in electrical engineering. Part way through the program I decided that engineering was not for me. I then enrolled at Georgia Southern and finally at Armstrong Atlantic University where I obtained my BSN. I worked in a surgical ICU for two years prior to my acceptance into the nurse anesthesia program at Duke University. I am married to my beautiful wife Paige who graduates as a Nurse Practitioner this September. My wife and I love spending time fishing offshore, traveling, cooking and renovating houses. We have also spent time in Liberia, West Africa on medical mission trips where we enjoy helping the underprivileged.

Being a certified registered nurse anesthetist has been a life long dream of mine that I have worked very hard to achieve. I am extremely dedicated to advancing my practice and clinical knoweledge. I am interest in all aspects of anesthesia. I thoroughly enjoy obstetrics, pediatrics, regional, and transplant anesthesia.
